The President of the country Dr. Arif Alvi raised objections to implementing the budget proposals in the form of ordinances.

According to the sources, the government wants to implement the mini-budget by issuing an ordinance today and the law ministry is reviewing the ordinance.

Sources said that after the objections of the President, the government team is busy in deliberations.

Sources say that the President wants it to be presented as a bill instead of an ordinance, while the government believes that more time will be required for the bill's approval in the parliament.

According to the sources, the government may contact the President again and he will be requested to issue an ordinance immediately after the Cabinet approval.

Sources say that the government cannot issue an ordinance during the joint session of the parliament, if the government ends the joint session, the president will have to be contacted again to convene the session and the government is afraid that if the joint session is ended, then the president The meeting will not be called again.

"The State of Pakistan will stick to the commitments made by the government to the IMF."

On the other hand, Finance Minister Senator Shaq Dar met President Arif Alvi. In the meeting, the Finance Minister informed the President about the progress and consensus in negotiations with the IMF.

The President appreciated the government's efforts to negotiate an agreement with the IMF and said that the state of Pakistan will stick to the commitments made by the government to the IMF.

On this occasion, Ishaq Dar said that the government wants to collect additional revenue through taxes by issuing ordinances.

On this, the President of the State said that it would be more appropriate to take the Parliament into confidence on the important subject, the session of the Parliament should be called immediately so that the bill can be passed into law without delay.
